Terms of service

Last updated 5 October 2026.

1. The service

Ledgerwide reads data from your Stripe Connect platform through a restricted, read-only key you create, and presents analysis based on it: risk scores and their reasons, dispute verdicts and evidence packs, repeat-offender lists, margin figures and alerts. It never moves money or changes your Stripe account. Actions such as submitting dispute evidence, refunding, reversing transfers or changing an account's payouts are yours to take in Stripe.

2. Our relationship with Stripe

Ledgerwide is an independent product. It is not built, endorsed or supported by Stripe, Inc., and Stripe and Stripe Connect are Stripe's trademarks. We read Stripe's API on your behalf under your agreement with Stripe, and the figures we cite from Stripe (fees, thresholds, Radar ratings) are Stripe's and may change; Stripe's own documentation prevails where the two differ.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace and for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. You must have the right to connect the Stripe account you connect. When you give us a restricted key you appoint us as your authorised service provider for reading that account; you remain responsible for the key under your agreement with Stripe, and you can end our access at any moment by expiring the key in Stripe.

4. Your connected accounts

You confirm that your agreement with your connected accounts (your platform terms) lets you access their account and transaction data through Stripe and share it with service providers for fraud, risk and financial analysis. We process that data only to provide the service to you, inside your workspace: we do not combine it with other customers' data, disclose it to other customers, or use it to train models.

5. How to use scores and verdicts

Risk scores, verdicts and advice are prompts for a person to review, built by published rules from your own data. You agree not to use them as the sole basis for onboarding, suspending, offboarding or withholding payouts from a connected account, or for any decision about an individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, housing or employment. Give a connected account a way to have a person look at any decision in which our output played a part. These are also conditions of Stripe's own terms on data it returns to you, which you must keep to.

Data Stripe returns, including its Radar fraud ratings, stays in your workspace for your own use; you must not export it to build or sell a fraud or security product.

6. Advice, not guarantees

Verdicts, win chances, risk scores and tiers, next-payout dates and savings figures are estimates built from the data Stripe exposes and from published card-network rules. They are there to help you decide; they are not a promise of any dispute outcome, network decision or financial result, and they are not legal or financial advice.

7. Fees and trials

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as shown on the pricing page, by active connected account (one that took a payment in the last 30 days); the Scale plan adds a per-account charge above its included number. Trials are free, need no card, and end without charge unless you choose a plan; when a trial or subscription ends, syncing pauses, the workspace is closed except for billing and settings, and your Stripe key is deleted after thirty days. If you have more active accounts than your plan covers, the accounts over the limit are not monitored until you move up or choose which to keep; we tell you in the product. Payment is handled by Stripe; you can change plan, update your card or cancel at any time from the billing page, and a cancelled plan runs to the end of the period already paid.

8. Acceptable use

Use the service only for platforms you operate, and don't attempt to access another workspace's data, overload the service, reverse-engineer it, or give your workspace access to someone who should not see your platform's data.

9. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost disputes, network fines, lost revenue, or the consequences of a decision you take about a connected account.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by disconnecting Stripe and closing your workspace. We can suspend a workspace that breaks these terms, and will tell you why.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the product before they take effect.
